I know there are starving children somewhere. Well, everywhere. I know this is a ridiculous way to blow a little cash...but I couldn't live with a soul-killing plaid flannel dog bed. This printed burlap from Groundworks is perfect with the Samuel and Sons French welt. I am not sure if the squiggly welt was caused by the ghosts of starving children or it is simply because I used loose foam shavings. Either way...Truly Scrumptious doesn't seem to care and my soul is still intact.

Nothing wrong with spoiling the pup with a special mat. Goodness knows our dogs spend enough time on their beds to warrant a little extra attention to making them comfy and attractive.
