Drop Out

One can only imagine what my drawings would look like today if
I had not dropped out of the interior architecture program at U of O.

On the brighter side...think of how much money my parents' saved.

Can't Go Wrong

I am working on a new project.

What's going? Everything. What's coming? At first, the basics.

1) Grass shades.

2) Wool carpet.

3) Linen curtains with Samuel & Sons' trim.

(I know my drawings are horrible. I can't draw. Or dance.)

4) Kilim Beige walls.

5) Muted rugs.

6) Grasscloth walls.

7) A table and chandelier for the sunroom.

Tell me...how on earth can you go wrong after this?

Blues

My new Rose Tarlow wallpaper and some
framed vintage butterflies went up in my nook.
It now looks very pretty but very...eh hem...Calico.

Don't get me wrong. I love it...but it looks a little...
dare I say it? Holly Hobby.

911. I pulled out the opaline from the built-ins.

I bought some high gloss Polo Blue paint.

Voila. It now looks like a fresher version of Holly Hobby.

One who had some work done.

Not there is anything wrong with that.

A Grassy Joint

This is not your parents' grass.

Cloth.

It's better now.

Throw in Restoration Hardware's Grammercy double washstand,
Keller sconces, vintage faucets, medicine cabinets and pounds and
pounds of carrera and you've got yourself an interior designer's high.

As soon as my seamstress can unbury
herself from my other projects...

...the bathroom shade will have you seeing stars, too.

Paint

I am meeting some new clients today to pick out paint colors.

I hope they like dark white.
