    I love such nooks where you could store your things and also make the area look different and colorful.I have designed some cabinets for some of my nooks which help me store my things better.Cabinetry Los Angeles

    I really think you are brave.
    I am thinking mud room with oil cloth covered something....easy to wipe or hose down.
