I had Artistic Tile's Satchmo Sticks in Coltrane Cream added to my client's backsplash.

I decided to head on over and check on the progress.

Mark, my tile installer, told me that the tile was gorgeous but it was a real killer. Teeny tiles. Pretty tedious stuff...requiring incredible dexterity.

It was worth it, though. Drop. Dead. Gorgeous.

Get Your Rocks Off

I see a lot but am tempted by little...but, you, I want.

Yes, you will be mine...because you excite me.

Salty Pete

Last year I donated this gorgeous vintage Italian bench to an auction benifitting Volunteers in Medicine. It sold before the auction even started. Go figure...they came calling again.

So I cruised down to my storage unit...and shopped.

I pulled out this pair of ugly ducklings. Vintage Century bergeres.

They really just need some new down cushions.

...a good dye job (Benjamin Moore's White Dove) and some new clothes. Well, hello, Kinomi by Peter Fasano.

Once again, Pete, you make my knees weak.
Pass the smelling salts, please.

I had these vintage Widdicomb chairs from 1stdibs dressed up in Peter Fasano's Jaipur. God, how I love 1stdibs and gorgeous fabrics and all the joy via financial drain that it brings my clients and I...

Joke. Ish.

Typical Day

First things first...this morning I totally outdid myself with this plan for the den in the Dallas townhouse. Walls in American Clay's Snow Canyon. Tibetan wool and silk rug by Neisha Crosland from The Rug Company. Killer Prussian blue mohair from Great Plains for the Kravet sleeper sofa. Hartmann & Forbes KottaWeave shade...

...then I supervised the removal of a Zhu-zhu pet from M's hair...

...and then I pottytrained... Jen style.

Typical. Day.

So sorry that I have been absent but I have been busy working on this. As you can needs some, uh...working on...
