I can top that, a toothbrush puncture to a 17th century oil painting... my son was a toddler....the painting was restored.... oh boy...boys will be boys!
* Thank heavens that was a LAMP and not his HEAD, huh?!?!?
Stilllll tho, sooooo sad... beautiful lamp!!!! (Then again, if WE don't keep OUR "sense of humor", nobody ELSE will either! Good move to "stay cool", Mom~~~ you KNOW he feels bad ENOUGH!!!)~~~
I laughed out loud reading your post. We had three girls and somehow they managed to do similar things. My husband is no better. What did you call your sweet son? Dead meat? I guess he is today. Thanks for the giggle.
Oh no!!!! He looks unimpressed with himself already.
ReplyDeleteoh. my. god. You poor thing.

ReplyDeleteIt wasn't my lamp. It was one of a pair that I had bought for a client. Still sad, though.
ReplyDeleteAw, poor thing! don't scold him, he's too cute!
ReplyDeleteThat photo says it all.
ReplyDeletePoor Griffin. Tell him he can hang with Greta who has taken to "sweeping" the walls, including two of my very favorite John Darian plates. So naughty.
ReplyDeleteYikes... gotta love boys! I had more than my share of 'accidents' here at home... I now remember them fondly- you will too later...much, much later.
ReplyDeleteI am still crying!!!
