Straight Eye...

Bedroom project done!

Thom Filicia's Marshall Street Bed by Vanguard in gray looks absolutely
divine. My client might be turning 70 but the only mumu that he is interested in is his
headboard. It is upholstered in Holly Hunt's pewter cowhide. Moo. Moo.
Vintage side tables by Michael Taylor for Baker came from my storage unit.

The Robsjohn Gibbings slipper chair was refinished and redressed in
Larsen's butterscotch velvet to match the custom coverlet.
Lucite table and 19th Century Japanese screen are mouth watering.

The bolsters made from Dedar's silk Bukara ikat kill me, though.
Especially that one by the headboard with those silk tassels from Lee Jofa.

The kitschy lamps from Hawaii might not be my thing but for a guy
who spends a 1/3 of the year there and 2/3 of the year in rainy Oregon...
well, who can blame him.
We all get a little sun deprived here...maybe he is onto something.
