Completely Ridiculous Purchase

Just ordered 8 yards of this ikat silk from here for outdoor pillows. I know. It's trendy and it's silk but it's cheap...and sooo cute.

    I could see a matching ensemble, perhaps a little caftan for patio parties or a sheath dress with sandals....

    I looove ikat. It's so fun to make, and even more fun to randomly do and see what happens.

    yummy. no such thing as trendy. and anyway you will make it fabulous. can't wait to see the finished product. may have to order some and make shams for my daughters room--is silk OK for pillow shams?
