A client of mine bought a townhouse in Dallas! I leave tomorrow to decorate in the Lone Star State. I have never visited Texas but 18 years ago when my hair was longer and my boobs were bigger I was mistaken for Charlene Tilton (Lucy on Dallas) by some tragically hip Japanese girls in the Tokyo airport.
I am leaving my husband, 3 kids and 1 dog at home for 3 1/2 days with one of these...
...and these...
...and I'm still worried...and he's scared.
Can you plan your return trip through Mpls?

ReplyDeleteI'm in Dallas and work at the Design Center, so I probably could have given you some tips!!
Not sure where your client's townhome is, but laura is right - you must have some Tex-Mex!! Mattito's (in Uptown area), Mia's (near Oaklawn), Manny's (in Uptown) are all great "classic" choices. But there are so many, it's kind of hard to go wrong.
At least it's been sunny and fairly mild (at least in the afternoons) here for you visit!!
i love dallas and the trade market
